  1. Will the turbine be facing the wind at all times?

    The wind turbines are designed with an anemometer, which will make sure the turbines are always facing the wind.

  2. How frequently do birds get hit by wind turbines?


    As a matter of fact, your cat injures more birds than a wind turbines. Also, just to be safe, the modern turbines are set at a slow speed so if a bird was to run into a blade the impact would be less than the earlier windmills.

  3. How much space do wind turbines take up?

    Our wind turbines are around 10 feet in circumference and 3.2 feet in diameter. Also, one of these tall energy producers need about 1 1/2 acres of land; meanwhile we have 7,300 acres, which is plenty.
